Who this is about

H2 Investment is an AMFI-registered mutual fund distributor in India, ARN-200996. In this policy "we" and "us" mean H2 Investment, and "you" means a person who uses this website or contacts us.

This policy covers this website and the enquiries made through it. It does not cover the websites of asset management companies, registrars or any other third party that you may reach through a link from here.

What we collect

From the forms on this site, only what you type: your name, email address, mobile number, city if you enter it, the subject you select and the message you write.

If you go on to invest through us, we collect what is required to process and service that investment. This will include your PAN, KYC status and identity documents, bank account details, address, date of birth, nominee details, and records of the transactions you instruct.

From your visit, our hosting provider records standard server log data: IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested and the time of the request. This is used to keep the site running and secure.

We do not collect special category data, we do not ask for your bank or folio password, and we will never ask you for an OTP.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no cookies of its own. It does not use advertising or tracking cookies.

We use Vercel Speed Insights, provided by Vercel Inc., to measure how quickly pages load. It is cookieless: it sets nothing on your device and stores nothing there.

For each page view it records the page address and timing measurements taken in your browser, together with your country, browser, operating system and device type — the things that explain why a page was fast or slow. It does not create a persistent identifier and cannot be used to follow you from one day to the next, or across other websites.

We see only aggregate measurements. We cannot use this to identify you, and it is never combined with anything you send us through a form. Because nothing is stored on your device and no persistent identifier is created, we do not show a cookie consent banner. If you would rather not be measured at all, a tracking-blocker extension or your browser’s blocking setting will stop it, and the site works exactly the same.

We do not count visitors. Vercel Web Analytics, which would do that, is not switched on for this site, so no page-view or visitor counts are collected at all. If that changes, this notice will be updated before it is switched on, not after.

Why we have it and on what basis

We use your enquiry details for one purpose: to answer the enquiry, and to have the conversation that follows from it. The basis is your consent, given by ticking the box on the form.

We use investment and KYC data to carry out the transactions you ask for and to service your holdings. The basis is the performance of that arrangement with you, and compliance with the legal obligations that apply to a registered distributor.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling. We do not use it to build an advertising audience.

Who sees it

Inside H2 Investment: the people who need it to answer you or to service your investment.

Outside H2 Investment, only in these cases:

• The asset management company, registrar and transfer agent, KRA, payment gateway or exchange platform involved in a transaction you have instructed. They cannot process it without your details.
• Service providers who run our systems — hosting, email, and any customer relationship system we adopt — under contract, and only for that purpose.
• Regulators, tax authorities, courts or law enforcement, where we are legally required to provide it.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not rent it, trade it, or pass it to anyone for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to an investment: [[enquiry retention period — to be confirmed]], after which they are deleted.

Records relating to investments and KYC: for as long as you hold the investment, and afterwards for the period required by Indian law and by AMFI and SEBI record-keeping requirements, which is currently at least eight years for transaction records.

How it is protected

The site is served over HTTPS. Access to enquiry and client data is limited to the people who need it and is protected by individual accounts and passwords.

No system is immune to compromise. If a breach affects your data and creates a risk to you, we will tell you and the relevant authority as required by law.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you what personal data of yours we hold, and give you a copy;
• correct anything that is wrong or out of date;
• delete it, where we are not required to keep it by law;
• stop contacting you, at any point and without giving a reason;
• withdraw a consent you previously gave.

Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did with the data before you withdrew it, and it does not remove records we are legally obliged to retain.

Children

This site is not directed at children. Minors can hold mutual fund investments in India through a guardian; where that applies, the guardian’s consent and documentation are what we act on.
